MENSHEN informs about the job profile of the Process Mechanic
Guest at the comprehensive school in Finnentrop
Which profession should I learn? Which training company is the right one for me? What will I learn during the apprenticeship? These and similar questions occupy many young people as they approach the end of their school career and are faced with the decision of choosing the right vocational training for them. Many schools today see it as an important part of their educational mission to accompany pupils in this important phase of their lives and to give them information, tips and help in making decisions. And for MENSHEN it is a matter of course to support the schools and students in this.
For this reason, a small delegation from MENSHEN gladly accepted the invitation from Christoph Gunter-Seretny from the Bigge-Lenne-Gesamtschule in Finnentrop. Christiane Dimmel (Head of Human Resources), Georg Damerius (Trainer) and Vittorio Virzi (Apprentice Process Mechanic) were guests in the school’s auditorium to introduce the company MENSHEN as a training company to the interested students. It is particularly worth mentioning that MENSHEN has received the “Excellent Training Company” certificate for the tenth time in a row since 2013. Afterwards, there was a lot of information about the special job description of the Process Mechanic (m/f/d), which is trained at MENSHEN in the field of plastics and rubber technology – in addition to many other apprenticeships. The various training contents were presented and the opportunities for further training during the training and later in the profession were explained. Vittorio Virzi, as a apprentice in the 2nd year of apprenticeship, used the opportunity to present his tasks and a typical working day in the life of a apprentice at MENSHEN to the eagerly listening students.
Process Mechanic at MENSHEN – an exciting, varied and above all future-proof profession, because “I think the profession of process mechanic is great, because we have a very large product portfolio. Seeing how innovative and sustainable products in different shapes and colours are created from granulate is always interesting every day,” says Vittorio. All in all, it was an entertaining, exciting and, above all, informative afternoon, which will certainly make the upcoming decision a little easier for some of the students.
MENSHEN offers a wide range of apprenticeships: Process Mechanics, Warehouse Logistics Specialists, Industrial Mechanics, Toolmakers and Electronics Technicians (all m/f/d) are still being sought for the 2023 training year. Click here for more information.
